Tia Bajpai, born Twinkle Bajpai, is an Indian actor and playback singer widely regarded as the "Horror Queen" of Bollywood. She rose to prominence with lead roles in Vikram Bhatt's Haunted 3D (2011) and 1920: Evil Returns (2012), and has since starred in Lanka, Lakeerein, Identity Card and Desi Kattey. A Mirchi Music Award recipient, she has recorded over 100 songs across Hindi cinema and independent music. Her 2026 album Love Mafia marks her return as a solo recording artist.
Twinkle "Tia" Bajpai (born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh) is one of the few Indian artists to have built parallel careers in film and music at the highest level. She trained as a classical vocalist before entering the industry through the Star Voice of India platform, and made her acting debut opposite Mahaakshay Chakraborty in Vikram Bhatt's Haunted 3D (2011), the first Bollywood horror film shot in stereoscopic 3D. The film's success established her as the face of the modern Indian horror genre.
She reprised the horror lead in 1920: Evil Returns (2012), followed by roles in Lanka (2011), Identity Card (2014), Desi Kattey (2014), Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat (2015) and Lakeerein (2016). As a playback singer she has recorded for major banners including Vishesh Films and T-Series, and picked up a Mirchi Music Award for her vocal work.
In 2026, Tia returns as a recording artist with the album Love Mafia, produced by Maximum Risk Music, alongside the international horror-thriller Lilly Rose: Chapter 1. She is represented for film, music, brand and event work by Maximum Risk Management.
